Residents across Cornwall are being urged to turn their ideas for community improvements into reality via Crowdfund Cornwall. Cornwall Council teamed up with the online fundraising organisation last year, raising nearly £100,000 of funding for local community projects.
The Crowdfund Cornwall platform helps community groups to find additional funds on top of Council funding by crowdsourcing support for small-scale projects that will benefit the local area, help grow nature and now also includes funds that will focus on adult social care (ASC) projects. The new ASC Social Inclusion Fund can support community projects that promote social inclusion and help people to be less lonely and socially isolated. To find out more and to start crowdfunding go to their website.
Cornwall Council is organising two workshops for anyone who is interested in applying for funding and would benefit from a face to face training. To sign up, please follow the links below. Please note that a number of spaces is limited.
