Paul Church is a member of the Church of England Penlee Cluster in Penzance Area.
As well as acting as the local community church for the areas of Paul, Gwavas and Mousehole we are very involved in our local community – with regular Wednesday Coffee Mornings and Market in the Church Hall and offering befriending support to those in need.
Our Quiet Garden behind the hall offers spectacular views across Mount’s Bay and is a haven of peace and uses stories of the Cornish Celtic Saints to encourage reflection.
It is not so Quiet in the Summer Holidays when we act as host for the Penlee Cluster Summer Holiday Playscheme for children across the area.
The Church building has a fascinating history and its heritage includes a unique First World War One Memorial Window and the Memorial to the crew of the Solomon Browne lifeboat. Weekly tours throughout the Summer take place on Wednesdays.
The church has fine acoustics and is a popular venue for concerts and performances.
