Our mission at Cornwall Rural Community Charity is to improve quality of life for residents of Cornwall.
Our three key areas of focus are communities, care and support, and skills, and through these areas we aim to build resilience in communities across Cornwall. We believe in the strength of communities and that solutions to common challenges already exist within the people who live there but that sometimes they need support and direction to help them develop and come to the fore – navigating systems and understanding their options.
We currently deliver a number of projects and services:
Kernow Carers Service – supporting adult carers over the age of 25 with information, advice and guidance, in partnership with Action for Children.
Inclusion Matters – social inclusion partnership with Age UK CIOS, Disability Cornwall, Inclusion Cornwall and the Digital Inclusion Team at Cornwall Council.
Learn Your Way – specialist learning disability education provision
Your Way Youth Services in partnership with Cornwall Young People
