Consultation – How public funds can be used to support the mobility needs of disabled people – Motability

The Social Security Advisory Committee is conducting research that examines how public funds can be used most effectively to support the mobility needs of disabled people. They would be interested to hear from anyone with experience of the current Motability scheme, those who have chosen not to use it, and those who are not eligible but want to use it.

Adult Social Care Direct Payment Policy

We have recently reviewed Direct Payments and have drafted a new Direct Payment Policy which will help people to understand how to get a Direct Payment, what they can be used for, what is involved in being a Direct Payment holder, what checks the Council will make and what happens if there are problems. We would like to hear people’s views on the new draft policy. Closes 15 November 2019.

Dogs on beaches

We have to review the Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) that control dogs on beaches every three years and are currently undertaking a formal consultation. Please complete our survey to help shape PSPOs that control how dogs are controlled on beaches in Cornwall in the future. Closes 19 November 2019.
