From April 2021, an exciting new project will create opportunities for people with disabilities and learning differences to benefit from free training and work placements, whilst helping Cornwall’s tourism sector become more accessible.
Access Cornwall CIC has secured financial support from the European Social Fund. With the help of Community Led Local Development and Cornwall Council, we are looking to provide work experience and training for people with disabilities or learning differences.
Access Cornwall offers opportunities for hands on experience in:
- Digital marketing
- Business and finance skills
- Sales and marketing strategy
Work placements will be focused around the individuals’ interests. Importantly, we’ll also support individuals to build a portfolio that will help with their future employment or education options. Some individuals will be employed
by Access Cornwall at the end of the scheme.
To qualify you need to be over the age of 18, have a registered disability, be based in West Cornwall and not currently be in education, employment or training.
