Homeless Link are hosting a free webinar around Financial Inclusion, on 13 February, from 2-3.15pm.
This session aims to demystify some of the key blockers and pain points in the banking system which affect socially excluded groups; opening an account, navigating universal credit and managing money when facing vulnerable circumstances.
Who is this webinar for?
Frontline support workers in the homelessness and supported housing sector. This webinar will be particularly useful if you work in resettlement, supported housing services or if you host educational and life skills workshops.
By the end of the session you will:
Know the banking options available to people without a photo ID or fixed address
Have a clear understanding of what banks can to do support customers in vulnerable circumstances
Feel equipped with signposting advice and guidance for people struggling to access or manage universal credit.
