Come along to the Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum AGM, where we will be offering up a side order of Christmas Party, on 15 December, from 1-3pm, online. We will be voting for new Trustees and showcasing the accomplishments of the sector during what has been a very tough year. We are calling this our “virtual marketplace”. Our ambition is to create a digital catalogue of as many VCSE organisations as we can next year, to highlight their work, amplify their voices and increase their influence and opportunities for collaboration.
The official part of the meeting will include voting on four new trustees, which will be carried out online. This allows for people who cannot attend the meeting to cast their votes in advance, as well as those who will be present. Brief biographies of the prospective candidates are included in the link below, as well as voting options.
We will be taking this opportunity to continue a conversation with our Members about how we can help you more effectively in the future. We want to start this conversation now by asking you to kindly complete our short survey so we can hear your ideas and suggestions about how we help you more effectively and what you think we should focus on next year.
So, if this isn’t enough to tempt you to join us – then you should know that there will also be a Christmas quiz and secret Santa prize for the winner.
Please bring your own mince pies, and beverage of your choice!
