Who Dares Works is a partnership of 17 social enterprises, led by Active Plus, working alongside people and communities in West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to help people reconnect with education, training and work. Supported by £3.3m of National Lottery and ESF funding, the project aims to help 850 people who face the biggest barriers and challenges to connecting or reconnecting with education, training and work. At the heart of the project are courses delivered by military veterans from Active Plus, using their skills, experience and expertise to build confidence, motivation and the self-belief to take the next steps towards training and work.
Four new Who Dares Works courses are going to be starting soon, for people who are aged 18+ and not in work. The courses run for 12 weeks and childcare and transport can be funded if needed. See the Who Dares Works website for more about the programme, and contact the team on 01872 300 236 or firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
