Penzance Citizens Panel on Housing and Homelessness – panel members

This is a soon-to-be convened citizens panel on housing and homelessness, part of Penance Citizens Panel. They are recruiting people as part of a pool of applicants from which a randomly selected 15 member panel will listen to a variety of expert speakers. This includes those who have experience of homelessness.

The initial phase of listening, learning and quizzing speakers (including elected representatives) will be followed by a deliberation and decision-making phase where panel members arrive at a consensual understanding of the issues and set out recommendations. This is about informed public judgement rather than public opinion that is often based on partial information.

They are especially keen to recruit any young clients below the age of 35 who may wish to be part of the panel.

Please contact Gavin Barker on 07717 297 932 or penzancepeople@gmail.com for more information.
