29th September, Taunton – Understanding and Influencing Local Enterprise Partnerships

This workshop will provide an update on progress on setting up Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) across the South West, and an overview of their relevance to the voluntary sector and how to get involved. It takes place in the afternoon after our Valuing Voluntary Action employment and skills conference. 20th October, Exeter – It’s not what you know, it’s who you know – Networking Event

Learn about the changing face of voluntary sector representation and influence, and meet and share information with others involved in helping voluntary and community groups to have a voice.

This event will be helpful to you if:

  • You want to learn about the changing face of voluntary sector voice and  influence, as Local Strategic Partnerships are disbanded, and cuts affect the  resources and capacity for dialogue.
  • You are responsible for co-ordinating voluntary sector representation and voice and you want to meet and learn from others who do the same
  • You want to hear about successful and creative ways to help the voluntary sector to have a voice, and share your own experience with others.

The event is FREE to voluntary and community organisations and £40 to  statutory or private sector organisations.
