There are a host of surveys around at the moment – here are two more, looking at business skills in Cornwall, and families of current and former military personnel who have substance misuse problems.
Take part in the largest business skills survey in Cornwall
Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Skills Hub are undertaking the largest ever skills survey of Cornish employers and would like your support.
Working with PFA Research, the survey aims to capture the aspirations of businesses in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly to improve their productivity or to grow, with the supply and demand of skills. It will also provide important evidence of business’ experience of accessing skills and the impact that skills investment has had on businesses. They have already reached over 900 organisations and would like to reach more across the different sectors and geographical areas of the county.
The results of the survey will be made openly available in the Autumn to enable public, private and third sector organisations to make data-led decisions for their sectors.
The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and can be done here.
The closing date is currently the end of August, but may be extended to allow responses to reach 1,000.
Online survey for families of former members of the UK Armed Forces with a substance use problem
Thanks to funding from Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT), Adfam is working with the University of York to find out about the experiences and needs of families of former members of the UK Armed Forces with substance use problems, before utilising these findings to develop a new peer support intervention for this group of families.
They recently launched an online survey to hear from families first-hand.
This survey is specifically for any family member of a former member of the UK armed forces with a substance use problem. If you are eligible, please do take part and tell us more about your experiences – and if you work with any families affected in this way please share this information with them and circulate across your networks.
The survey will take up to 45 minutes to complete.
All participants are in with a chance of winning one of two £50 high street vouchers.
