Penwith College Higher Education taster session

A free taster session for people considering a Higher Education course in mental health, teaching, educational strategies, nutrition, business enterprise, catering, community, psychology and sports coaching.

Monday, January 22, 5 to 9pm (with a Networking Buffet provided), in Penzance.

Cn4C / National Trust

Level 2 Horticulture course, at National Trust Penrose, Helston. Running every Friday for 12 weeks, from 2 February. Fully funded for people over 19 who are looking for work, or employed for less than 8 hours per week. Places are limited.

Q&A CIC

Level 3 awards in Education and Training, and Information, Advice and Guidance, 6-week courses, starting Feb, April and June. Funding may be available for some learners. Download the AET & IAG poster for more information.

6-day course for people wishing to work in the construction industry – a preliminary course to enable candidates to pass their CSCS test, for a ‘Labourers Card’. Download the CSCS poster for more information. This course is free for those in receipt of eligible benefits. Course starts 22 January.

Resilient You leadership programme for the care sector, commencing 1 February. Cost for this 7-day programme is £550.

The Resilient You programme gives learners the potential to recover from difficulties and assists with new ways of coping and growing in a stressful sector.
