Penhaligon’s Friend’s are holding their 2012 conference on Friday 23rd March at St Mellion International Resort from 9.30 – 4pm.

‘Remember Me Always – supporting families through bereavement and loss’ can be attended by anyone who wants to understand the issues surrounding childhood bereavement and loss, particularly staff within education, NHS, local councils, counsellors and the voluntary sector.

The day is especially relevant for anyone working with children with special educational needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorders and offers the skills and resources required to provide appropriate support.

Confirmed speakers include:

David Trickey – Consultant Clinical Psychologist with extensive clinical experience working with families and children.

Sir Al Aynsley Green – Has been involved in the political area of Children’s Services since 2000 and has worked as Chair of the NHS Taskforce for Children and National Clinical Director for Children in governement.

Katie Koehler – Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has been working with children and families within the NHS over the past 20 years.

The fee per delegate is £95 and includes all course material, refreshments and a light lunch.
