Does your organisation offer services that might benefit others in the sector? Maybe training events, advice sessions or information resources?
Could you use a larger platform to tell others about what you do?
That’s interesting, because Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum is going to to use Small Charity Week, from 17 to 22 June in 2019, to do just that!
We will be supporting the event by helping the small charities (and other voluntary organisations) that we support to support each other, and share information.
How can you get involved?
1 – If you are running an event for Small Charity Week, let us know. We will share it, put it on our website, tell people about it, and help you make it happen.
2 – If you are a small charity which exists to support other voluntary organisations, then let us know. We will help you advertise your services, and promote you to our Members. (We have a couple listed already, because we know our Members, and know what you do – but we are sure that there are more than two of you…)
3 – During Small Charity Week itself, we ill be taking part in a lot of the online activity, so if you are posting or tweeting, then we will like, share, retweet and so on, to help spread the message about what you do, and that small charities (and other voluntary organisations) are amazing.
You can read more about what we’re doing on our Small Charity Week page, and use the form there to let us know what you’re up to.
The national campaign will be using #ILoveSmallCharities, and we will also be using #ILoveSmallCharitiesCornwall
On the Small Charity Week website, there is more information about the national campaign as well. They have nominated the different days of the week for different topics:
17 June – I love small charities day
18 June – Big Advice Day
19 June – Policy Day
20 June – Fundraising day
21 June – Small charity big impact day
22 June – Celebration day
