The Skills Funding Agency is hosting a launch event for its next round of European Social Fund (ESF) activities in Cornwall at the Headland Hotel in Newquay (click for map) on Thursday 7 October.
Running from 9.30am to 4pm, this rescheduled event was originally due to take place in June. It includes details of planned ESF Convergence activities, policy changes and possible future ESF bidding opportunities. It will also include an update from Government Office for the South West and the other two ESF co-financing agencies, the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) and Jobcentre Plus.
VCS organisations and social enterprises should attend to learn about Skills Funding Agency, Job Centre Plus and NOMS co-financing plans and details regarding timescales and bidding opportunities. It is also an opportunity to network with fellow delegates and create working partnerships.
