Representation

WHAT IS REPRESENTATION?

We help voluntary sector organisations in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly get their voice heard by co-ordinating voluntary sector representation on key boards and committees.

Here VCS representatives sit alongside public sector staff, business leaders and elected officials to shape policy.

Boards include the Children’s Trust, Safer Cornwall and Environment Kernow. By contacting the representative responsible for the area your organisation works in, you can put your issue on the agenda.

BECOMING A REPRESENTATIVE

We are often on the look out for new representatives to sit on boards and partnerships.

If you are interested in becoming a representative, you should be able to command the confidence of colleagues in the field you are representing.

You must also commit time to attending meetings and writing reports for publication on our website. Representatives also need to be approved by our Board of Trustees.

Representative positions will be advertised on this website.

SUBMITTING A REP REPORT

If you are a representative and want to submit a report, you can do so using our form.
