Truro Cathedral will be open from 10am to 3pm on World Suicide Prevention Day, for quite reflection, or to light a candle in memory of someone who has died.
Due to COVID restrictions, it is not possible to hold the usual service for people affected by suicide, but the Cathedral will be open to those who would like a moment of quiet reflection. Cathedral chaplains, Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s chaplaincy team, and the Suicide Liaison Service will also be available throughout the day.
All are welcome, of all faiths, or none. For those not able to visit in person, you can light a virtual candle online on the Cathedral’s website.
