Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices
Do you offer support to apprentices who have been made redundant, or at risk of redundancy due to covid?
During these unprecedented times the Government wants to continue to support apprentices and they have therefore developed an enhanced package of support for redundant apprentices – the Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices (ReSSA). ReSSA will provide clear, accessible advice and guidance to individuals on the impact of redundancy and their next steps. It will also support those who wish to complete their apprenticeship to do so and to help them find a new employer. They expect ReSSA to go ‘live’ early next month.
As part of the service they are creating a directory of redundancy support provision and would like to hear from you if you are interested in being included in the directory.
They are hosting two webinars and if you’d to book on one please email App.REDUNDANCYSUPPORT@education.gov.uk
