Our Safeguarding Children Partnership for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is hold its annual conference, entitled The Ages and Stages of Emotional Health and Well-Being, on 16 March, at the Pavilion Centre, Royal Conrwall Showground, Wadebridge.
The conference will run from 9.15 to 4.30pm, with lunch and refreshments provided. The cost is £30 per person, plus VAT.
Our Safeguarding Children Partnership for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly recognises the importance of promoting good emotional health and well-being for children throughout their childhood, as they become young adults. This conference brings together professionals working with children at different ages and stages in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and further afield. It is a tremendous opportunity to learn from each other and to reflect on what we can do differently as individuals and as organisations to improve outcomes for children and their families.
Focussing on emotional health and wellbeing at different developmental stages will be key speakers on:
- Peri-natal mental health and the emotional well-being of very young children,
- The I Thrive Framework,
- The Wave Project and the value of Surf Therapy
- Supporting the emotional well-being of college students.
