On other days over Christmas and New Year, waste and recycling collections will take place on the usual day – although the time may not be the regular time.

Collections due on New Year’s Day will take place as normal.

All households should receive an updated waste and recycling guide in the post, with updated information about what can and cannot be recycled, and including a calendar detailing the collection days in your area. You can also find this information on the Cornwall Council website at www.cornwall.gov.uk.

Residents who have assisted waste collections that are due on Christmas Day or Boxing Day will have their waste collected on the days given above.

Residents who have a clinical waste collection that is due on Christmas Day or Boxing Day will have their waste collected on the same day the following week.
