The National Council for Voluntary Organisations is holding one of 10 Members’ Assemblies in Cornwall on 14 October, as part of their efforts to reach all the regions. The event will take place at Heartlands, Pool, from 10-2.30.
They hope that by attending, members will have the opportunity to:
hear the latest on public policy and other current issues facing the sector, and how NCVO is working on these
learn about the practical benefits and resources of your NCVO membership
contribute ideas to NCVO work
meet other NCVO members and network over a free lunch
speak to their newly appointed CEO Karl Wilding.
They are particularly keen to hear a wide diversity of views.
Who can attend
This Members’ Assembly is open to staff and trustees of all NCVO’s 14,500+ member organisation. Non-member organisations in the local area are also welcome, however booking in advance is required.
Given the current situation around the Corona virus, please check with individual organisers regarding events listed in these pages, to ensure that they are going ahead, before you travel.
Also, please bear in mind the advice not to attend if you feel unwell, or have a temperature, or have been in contact with anyone with the virus.
