The Media Trust is running a digital summer school for charities, aiming to help groups that are looking to re-position, re-engage stakeholders and re-ignite funding support post-Covid.
The summer school will focus on digital communication for charities. It is a 3-week programme with pre-recorded teaching, live training by media industry and charity experts, and small group mentoring and peer to peer learning. Starting on 10 August, there is a commitment to 5 hours per week,
An early bird discount of 15% is available if you sign up before midnight 21 July.
They are offering up to 50 free places for voluntary organisations led by and/or supporting people and communities of colour. Please email email@example.com to apply for one of these spots.
The cost is proportionate to size of organisation, measured by income. £85 if your organisation turns over less than £1m/year, and so on.

2. Grow your audience with data
Week 2: RE-ENGAGE (17-21 August)
3a. Creating cut-through digital content including video
3b. Content planning
Week 3: RE-IGNITE (24-28 August)
4. Asking for support
Media Trust is partnering with digital and charity experts from our media industry partners and organisations to provide training and mentoring for our charity participants.
Live virtual training will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11.30am.
Small group mentoring sessions will take place every Thursday from 2 to 3.30pm.
