Five Weeks of Dance and Movement for Adults comes to Bodmin!
The aim of the project is to run a creative programme of dance in Bodmin which is easily accessible and open to all.
Breathing Space will give the opportunity to adults with mental health concerns and the groups and organisations that support them to have a go at something new. The team at Dance Centred will ensure that while people are taking part in the workshops, they feel safe and supported to have a go. Dance Centred aim to offer a high quality dance and creative experiences that encourage people to feel positive in mind and body.
Between 31 March and 2 May 2020 you can take part in a selection of weekly dance and movement workshops at The Space 81A Fore St and the upper hall in the Methodist Church on Fore St (Bodmin town centre).
There will be 5 weeks packed with fabulous opportunities for people to get involved, these will include: ‘Not so Strictly’ classes to learn fun dance routines, Mindful Movement, dance improvisation, introductions to moving for those who want a gentle way in to dance, make a dance in a day, fun and lively dance classes where parents/carers can bring young children along, dancing with live music and lots more! All these sessions are being offered on a ‘make a donation if you can’ basis so that everyone is able to take part.
