Cornwall Advocacy is setting up a new onlineĀ online self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilites.
The be heard group is for people with learning disabilities who have been affected by the pandemic.
Self-advocacy is all about speaking up for yourself and supporting your peers to also speak up.
The group will help people to:
- Share ideas and support each other
- Support staying safe and wellbeing
- Help each other to be a strong voice to the people in charge of services and tell them about the changes you want to make
- Help each other to speak up about important things

The group will take place on 1, 8 and 15 March from 10.30am to 11.30am on Microsoft Teams. Participants will be emailed a link to take part on the day/days required.
