Citizens Advice Cornwall has published its autumn newsletter, which contains useful updates on their service, post-lockdown.
We are seeing rapidly increasing demand, particularly for help with redundancies, debt, benefits, paying rents and, sadly, relationship breakdowns in all areas of the county.
To cope with this demand, and to make sure we are reaching all members of society who need help, we’re stepping up our communications with parish and town councils and hoping to build stronger relationships to make people aware of our service. This includes recruiting more volunteer advisers and installing computers in more remote areas so people can still access help with face-to-face appointments over the internet without travelling into our offices.
If you would like to know more about our work, how we could work together with your organisation or just an update on the key issues in your area (we have information down to parish level), please contact Wailim Wong, their Communications Officer, on email@example.com
