The Vibes ‘Help your community’ shop at All Saints Community Centre, Camborne, is looking for volunteers to help at their shop / community hub. There is an application pack available in the shop. The shop is less than a month old, and is hoping to provide a service to the local community as well as raising money.
The Vibes ‘Help your community’ shop is hoping to set up a community fridge in the next few months, but at present they say
“There are volunteers trained in domestic abuse support, suicide prevention, mental health first aid, Ally Pet Bereavement and Loss support, and drug and alcohol addictions, available to provide support as well as link in to the support services at the community centre and elsewhere. This is a community hub as well as a shop, and there will always be a friendly set of ears available. This is our local people helping other local people and we hope that VIBES will be at the heart of our community.”
They are always happy to receive donated good to sell, and have particularly appealed for baking and cook ware, toys and computer games, as well as knitting patterns and wool.

Access to All Saints Community Centre
At the moment, there are roadworks on the stretch of road in front of the church, and it is impossible to approach it by car from either direction on the main road.
You can get to the church by turning off the main road at the Tesco’s roundabout, going straight across the traffic lights into Kerrier Way, turning right at the next roundabout, and then immediately right again onto Church View Road, which will bring you out behind the church.
There’s always a lot going on at All Saints – see their Facebook page for details.
