The Screwfix Foundation have grants of up to £5000 available for projects that fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for those in need across the UK.

Now in its 4th year, the grants are financed by Screwfix’s staff and customers’ fundraising efforts which include a cycling ‘tour’ by staff of every Screwfix trade counter and Screwfix customers topping up orders via the web.

Applications can be made at any time and are reviewed on a quarterly basis. The remaining reviews for 2017 are scheduled for July and October.

Charities, community organisations or projects applying should be:

  • A registered charity
  • Help people in need by reason of financial hardship, sickness, disability, distress or other disadvantage in the UK
  • Relate to the repair, maintenance, improvement or construction of homes, community buildings and other buildings
  • Be environmentally friendly
