Cornwall Council’s Family Information Service operates as part of Support in Cornwall, providing information for a variety of groups – adults, families, young carers, youth and for professionals in various areas. They also have a section on the SEND local offer, for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

The Family Information Service has a variety of pages that might be of interest to groups working with young families, including free activities during March, plus events connected with Shrove Tuesday / Pancake day, and St Piran’s Day, both 5 March – pasties and pancakes make a great combination!

They have a special page that is just for dads, and other information around World Book Day (7th March), International Women’s Day (8th March), and British Science Week (8-16 March).

If you have events, whether they are regular or one-offs, that you want to share with more people, then it is easy to add them, if you create an account on the Support in Cornwall website.
