Cornwall Council has two consultations open at present, with opportunity to make your views known on draft strategies for vulnerable adolescents and also homelessness.

Vulnerable Adolescents strategy

Cornwall Council has been working with young people to develop a draft vulnerable adolescents strategy for the partnership.  It would be appreciated if you could review the draft document and send your comments, using this feedback form, to Frances James by 30 September.

Collated comments and feedback will be shared with David Roose, who is leading on the Vulnerable Adolescents strategy initiative.  The strategy will be presented to OSCP for endorsement after changes arising from the consultation have been integrated.

Homelessness Strategy

Cornwall is reviewing its homelessness strategy. Consultation and engagement has been undertaken over the last few months and this has resulted in the development of a draft strategy. This draft strategy is now available for initial comments.

Homelessness can affect anyone at any time. The majority of people affected by homelessness will have family or social networks in place that can support them at times of stress – however others won’t.

If you have an interest in this area, please comment on the draft strategy online.
