WHAT IS CONVERGENCE MATTERS?
Our Convergence Matters project is designed to help the voluntary and community sector deliver Cornwall’s European Social Fund (ESF) Convergence.
It helps voluntary and community organisations by providing timely information about Convergence, by signposting funding and training opportunities, and through capacity building. It is managed by Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum with six local partners.
The project is officially known as the ‘Third Sector Support and Participation Project’ and our work is funded through ESF Convergence.
AIMS OF THE PROJECT
- Maximised participation of the voluntary and community sector in the Convergence programmes.
- A well-informed voluntary and community sector that is kept up to date with Convergence.
- Helping the voluntary sector target ESF assistance better towards the most disadvantaged groups.
- A strengthened voluntary sector capacity for impact analysis and evaluation of its work.
- Development of effective partnerships within the voluntary and community sector of Cornwall.
