Here are the awareness events and commemorations for the middle of November. We have opted to give 2 weeks at a time, to keep things interesting, and we have enough space to include the rest of the news for the sector.
Starting with Odd Socks Day, this year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme is United Against Bullying. “Bullying has a long lasting effect on those who experience and witness it. But by channelling our collective power, through shared efforts and shared ambitions, we can reduce bullying together. From parents and carers, to teachers and politicians, to children and young people, we all have a part to play in coming together to make a difference.”
Find out more, and get hold of resources to support anti-bullying initiatives locally on the website.
This year focussing on driver education ‘No need to speed’ is the slogan. Join the campaign for safer roads, for those who walk and cycle, and support those affected by car crashes.
