Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum is launching a new Cornwall Trustee Network at the Eden Project on Tuesday 29 March from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Shivaji Shiva will running a master class in what is involved in being a trustee.  Shivaji Shiva is a Solicitor and independent consultant specialising in charity law and governance. He acts for sponsors of new charities as well as the trustees and staff of existing charities and other not-for-profit bodies.

Training for the Future

East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Service started a new project called ‘Training for the Future’ which is funded by the Big Lottery in October 2009. This 3 year funding allows us to offer FREE training to any voluntary, community group or individual. DH Third Sector Investment Programme for 2010 to 2011

This year sees the launch of the Third Sector Investment Programme which replaces the Section 64 grants scheme. The application process will remain almost identical.
