If you haven’t heard of these events before, they provide voluntary and community groups (as well as statutory agencies) with an excellent opportunity to network, share information and publicise their work. You’ll also find out about VCO funding, training and various other opportunites.

Kevin Brennan has been named as the new Minister for the Third Sector in Gordon Brown’s reshuffle, with Nick Hurd taking over from Greg Clark in the Conservative Party and Susan Kramer staying in her Shadow Cabinet Office role for the Liberal Democrats. Mr Brennan was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children, Young People and Families. He was elected to Parliament in June 2001, representing the constituency of Cardiff West.
